Visiting Researcher, CNMS
Oak Ridge National Laboratory

I am a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Clemson University, advised by Dr. Judson D. Ryckman. I am passionate about studying light–matter interactions at the nanoscale and using them to develop practical photonic technologies.

In the Nanophotonics Laboratory, I work with visible-wavelength metasurfaces and porous silicon platforms for structural color, optical detection, and imaging. My projects combine cleanroom fabrication, microscopy, microfluidics, colorimetry, and data analysis to build compact sensor systems that can operate without conventional spectrometers. I am especially interested in creating technologies that are sensitive, accessible, and useful for real-world applications.

Outside of research, I enjoy painting and music. Painting has always been one of my favorite creative outlets, and music is something I enjoy in my everyday life.
